Compare a stretch across every run

How do you compare the same stretch of road across runs?
Open a run. Under its map, drag two handles along the route. The panel shows the distance, the climb and the moving pace of the stretch between them. Under the panel, ourpr lists your other runs over the same ground, each with its own time over that stretch. It reads the runs it has loaded, so a very old run may not be in the list.
Why moving pace?
A stoplight inside the stretch is not a slower runner. ourpr removes the stopped time before it divides, so the comparison is fair.
Where do the figures come from?
From the run's own recording. ourpr keeps the height and the time of every run at every 10 meters along it. A run with no recording, such as a treadmill run, shows a dash and never a guess.
How short can a stretch be?
0.1 miles. Below that, the recorded line is not exact enough to measure, so the handles stop.
Does direction matter?
Yes. An out-and-back run covers the same ground twice. ourpr lists each pass with its direction, forward or reverse, so a fast pass downhill does not hide a slow one back up.
Can you keep a stretch?
Yes. Name it, and it becomes a saved route. It appears on your map, and on every later run that covers it, so a familiar stretch opens straight to its own figures. You can plan a run against it.
Is a saved route a segment with a leaderboard?
No. A saved route is yours. It ranks nobody, it holds no other person's data, and ourpr computes it from files you own. You can publish a route so other runners can keep a copy of it.
